READYMIX PLASTER (EXT) is suitable for use on exterior walls and facades ranging from residential to heavy commercial and industrial buildings. READYMIX PLASTER (EXT) is recommended plastering on concrete surfaces and bricks.
Do not mix or apply if ambient temperature is expected to drop below 5 °C during installation or in the proceeding 24 hours, or if rain is expected in the proceeding 24 hour period after application. Do not mix or apply when ambient temperature is expected to exceed 40 °C. Avoid working in direct sunlight. Temporary protection from weather and other damage must be provided at all times until entire job is completed.
The substrate must be clean, sound, and free from dust and all traces of oil and laitance. A few hours before the application of READYMIX PLASTER (EXT) dampen the surface with clean water.
Mix manually or mechanically a 50 kg bag of READYMIX PLASTER (EXT) with 8 to 8.5 litres of clean cool Water until a homogeneous paste is obtained. Let the mix rest for a few minutes.
Protect the newly applied plaster from sunshine and wind. The new plaster has to be cured with water for at least three days by spraying 3 to 4 times daily.
Tools and equipment can be easily cleaned with a clean water.
Readymix Plaster (EXT) is available in 50 kg woven bags. A 50 kg bag of Readymix Plaster (EXT) will cover 18 to 20 sq. ft. in 14 to 15 mm thickness. Coverage depends on the substrate.
The shelf life of Ready Mix Plaster (EXT) is 9 months from the date of manufacture when kept at a temperature between 5 °C to 45 °C and stored in the original, unopened bags. All material should be kept covered in a manner to avoid damage (preferably on pallets) and protected from excessive heat and moisture. Do not allow to freeze.

Health & Safety: READYMIX PLASTER (EXT) should not come into contact with skin, eyes or be swallowed. Protective glasses should be worn during mixing and application. Should READYMIX PLASTER (EXT) come into contact with skin, remove before hardening by washing with soap and water. Should accidental eye contact occur wash with plenty of water and seek medical advice. If swallowed seek medical advice immediately. Do not induce vomiting.
